2024 - 2025 Craft Sales

The Craft Shop holds three annual Craft Sales at the SIU Student Center: The Family Weekend Craft Sale, Holiday Craft Sale, and Valentine’s Day Craft Sale. Craft vendors from the community have come together over the last 45 years at these events to sell their professional and quality handmade wares. All Craft Sales are open to the public.

Family Weekend Craft Sale 2025

• Friday, October 3, 2025, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
• Saturday, October 4, 2025, 10 a.m. - 3 p.m.

  • Registration for 2025 - 2026 sales open Monday, July 7,2025 at noon. 
  • If you are a new vendor to our craft sales, please submit 5 images of your work for review by emailing craftshop@siu.edu. Please do not send in your application until our panel approves your work. 
  • If you have participated in the past 5 years, there is no need to send in images. 

Each year the SIU Saluki Family Weekend celebration brings excitement to the Student Center. Hundreds of parents, students, and members of the southern Illinois community participate in many campus events. 

Holiday Craft Sale

  • Registration for 2025 - 2026 sales opens at noon on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

    • Our sale focuses on handmade art and craft.

Our 45 annual Holiday Art & Craft Sale is a major event sponsored by the Student Center Craft Shop. This art and craft sale features approximately 80 local and regional Artists and Craftspeople working in various media including ceramics, fibers, glass, wood, drawing, painting, jewelry, handmade items for the body or home, and more! All items must be well crafted and handmade seen application for details. 

Valentine's Day Craft Sale

The Valentine’s Day Craft Sale fits the bill for those last-minute shoppers searching for the perfect gift for someone special. This unique one-day sale includes everyone from SIU faculty, staff, and students to the local community shops.
