Enhance Your Event at the SIU Student Center
Hosting your event at the SIU Student Center means more than just reserving a room—it’s about creating an experience. From customizable linens and advanced audiovisual setups to greenery straight from the SIU Greenhouse, we offer the amenities to elevate your gathering, no matter the size or style.
And while you might be here for a meeting, training, or workshop, we believe in mixing in a little fun. Add something extra to your agenda with hands-on activities in the Craft Shop, a friendly game in Bowling and Billiards, or some spirited competition in our Esports arena. Looking for something more active or outdoorsy? We can help connect you with Recreational Sports & Services or Touch of Nature for team-building and recreation options.

Linen Services
Choose from a variety of linen sizes and colors to match your event's theme. Our team will ensure linens are set up before your arrival and removed afterward, allowing you to focus on your event. Please place linen orders at least ten business days in advance.
Audio, Visual & Stage Support
Take advantage of our state-of-the-art sound, projection, and meeting support equipment at newly reduced rates. Our Technical Director is available to assist with details.
Greenery
Add a touch of nature to your event with plants sourced from the SIU Greenhouse, perfect for enhancing stages or podiums. Reserve plants at least ten business days before your event.
Bus Drop-Off and Pick-Up
For events involving group transportation, buses should enter campus from Route 51 South at the intersection of Lincoln Drive and Route 51 South, proceeding to the Student Center Drop Area as directed. After unloading, buses should park in Lot 56, located south of the Banterra Center. For safety and to minimize congestion, buses are not permitted to unload or park in the Saluki Express drop-off areas.
