Online Requests

The Student Center now conveniently offers online scheduling requests* in order to provide the campus community a tool to view space availability and schedule space for your campus events. Please click below to request space or view availability. Also, click on instructions for more information on how to use online scheduling.

*Online scheduling of space must occur more than two business days before the meeting or program is to take place. Any scheduling requests within two business days must contact the Student Center Scheduling Office. Please note that Ballrooms, lounge and large event spaces may not be reserved online.

Event Space Request

In order to ensure we have all appropriate details to reserve spaces for your event or program, please fill out an Event Space Request Form to start the reservation process.

Major Events

For large events, the scheduling officer may request event space (major, annual, or special) for Registered Student Organizations (RSO’s) up to one year in advance by submitting a letter of request to the Assistant Director of the Student Center at studentcenterscheduling@siu.edu. Space may only be booked pending availability. The Student Center encourages RSO’s to book event space for large events in order to secure a date.
